Technology after 20 years

Albano, Jamille P. BSE-TLE 3A

Technology after 20 years.
Twenty years from now will we still be using laptops, ipods, etc.? How, if at all, will cell phones or blackberry's change? What can we expect to see in the future? Technology has a great influence in everyone. It evolves as times goes by. It has a lot of changes and innovations. I think 20 years from now technology will be more innovative. Inventors will create different gadgets and many thing that can make the life of the people easier. Twenty years from now I can see our transportation very different. There will be no cars that are run by the gasolines instead, the cars will be run by either electicity, air, sunlight or batteries only. There will be a lot of techy bridges and there will be no traffics. Gadgets are more innovative as well. Cell phones can be a means not only of communication but for a lot of things like for entertainment and source of electricity . It is possible that all the furnitures can also be a means of communication or anything. I also hope to have a gadgets that can be used to cur many diseases like those diseases which are impossible to cure like cancers, leukemia, TB, and heart attacks. I guess if it will be invented, I can prolong the lives of many people and it is one source of hope to those poor individuals. In education, I hope that 20 years from now, all the students of private and public schools will have their own tablets or laptops that has an automatic internet. I also hope to have a lot of safety gadgets or safety innovative gears or gadgets . Like for example, a house materials that can resist fires to avoid burning of houses. There is a lot of inventions or technology that geniuses can create that can help each and everyone to have a more easy and progressive life.

Tutorial

HOW TO APPLY MAKE-UP
Make-up is a necessity specially to professionals and artists. It is very convenient to us if we learn the basics in using make-up.

MATERIALS:
-concealer
-foundation
-lipstick
-eye shadow
-eye liner
-mascara
-brow liner
-powder

First step:  Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. Dot it on over any blemishes or under-eye circles and blend with your fingertips or a makeup sponge. If your concealer tends to cake, apply eye cream first.

Second step:
Choose foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Apply it in dots over the central part of your face, then blend it out with a makeup sponge or your fingertips until it covers your entire face .

  Third step:
Do your eyebrows next. Use powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look unnatural. Apply it with a hard, slanted brush.
Fourth step:
Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium and dark. Use the dark only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease and the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. There are many variations on eye shadow application techniques

Fifth step:
Apply eyeliner. Use a cake eyeliner with a damp, thin liner brush, or an eyeliner pencil, and line the lower lid below the lashes. Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you're trying to achieve a darker look. Line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible), or start the line where your lashes begin. Apply also liquid eye liner if you want.

Sixth step:
Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Or try a colored mascara such as navy or plum for fun, but don't go too bright if you want to be taken seriously.

Seventh step:
Smile to find the apples of your cheeks, and apply blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. If you have to blend in blush, it's too bright.

Eighth step:
Choose a lipstick color that's suited to your skin tone and that's perfect for your day look. You can mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits

As a result:

about me ...

My name is Jamille Pelante Albano. My family and friends used to call me jam. I live at 356 General Conception Bagong Barrio Caloocan City. I am now eighteen years old. My birth day is on July 16 . I graduated elementary in De LA Salle Araneta universty and Salvador Araneta Memorial Institute in High School. I am the second and middle child of Rondie Albano and Mollyn Albano. My eldest brother's name is Jurell Rashid Albano which is twenty three years old and my youngest sister's name is Jean Althea Albano which is five years old. We live together in one house with the wife and daughter of my brother. The wife of my brother is Miko Gomez and their child is Cindy Khim.ihave pets and they are part of our family. They are marian and star, my dogs and danica my cat. I love them because they love me as well.

My talents are singing and dancing but most of the time, I dance specially when Im with my sister in our house. I sing when I'm alone and before sleeping and when I take a bath. I also love to act when I'm alone and when I'm with my sister. We use to cry without reasons and laugh without reasoms too. I think we are born actresses. Well thats our nature. I also dream to be one but I'm not that brave. Honestly, I already try to join one of the contest. It is the Starstruck. But unfortunately, I only reach the second stage of the auditions. Anyway thats life specially that is a great experience. And because of that audition, I saw my idol which is Jennylyn Mercado so I feel like a winner already even I only saw her from a far. And I think God wants me to finish first my study before anything else.

When it comes to my studies, at first I dont like my course because my first choice was tourism, but because of the height requirement, they do not accept me. But now, I'm very much thankful that I'm here in this course not only because it iis a very beautiful course but because of the true friends I met because of this course. My true friends in this course are Santiago, Lanot, Santos, Flavio, Orias, Bayhon, Estiller, Gariando, Magno, Maestro and Gutierrez. They are my very treasured friends. Even if sometimes we have a misunderstanding, at the end of the day, we consider one another as our own brothers and sisters. They are the one of the best reasons why I enjoy my life now aside from my family. And one of the reasons also why I want to live longer and I'm living my life happier than before is because of my boyfriend. He is not only my boyfriend but my bestfriend, adviser, brother, father, and mentor. He is one of the grest things that ever happen to my life.

Reflection

Do Students Learn Better via the Internet?

Everything that we have now in this world is a blessing. I also consider internet as one of those blessings given to us. It is very important now a days because it helps students to make their works and assignments easier. It doesn't already mean that if they research their works through internet, they are not exerting much effort than the usual thing that they do before like going in the library. Students also exert effort and patience in looking to different educational sites to look for a better answer to their works. Internet also increase the number of works that a student can finish in just one hour unlike only through looking and scanning different books in the library. Internet can also give new additional knowledge and information to the students because it is always updated and it is more interesting now a days because in this generation, most of the students doesn't like to scan and read a lot of books for just one assignment. But internet is not always on the positive side. it is sometimes negative because some students take for granted of the content of their research and just copy paste it. and because of that, knowledge is not acquired. Internet is not a disadvantage. Every site their are made for a purpose, for example, educational sites are made for those who wanted to learn a lot, games are made to lessen the boredom and give happiness to the users, facebooks are made for a simple communication to our loved ones, and youtube are made not only for entertainment but also for those visual learners. yes it is being used for some unethical activities. But it is not a disadvantage of the internet, perhaps it is the fault of the users. I believe that internet is made for everybody to help in many different ways. it's up to the person on how will he or she used it. It is also the responsibility of the guardian or parents to guide, teach and monitor their children on their internet activities. And lastly, I believe that internet plus right guidance of the love ones will lead to a better and more learning to the students.
